German-born Ghanaian Jamie Leweling will feature for Bundesliga outfit Vfl Stuttgart in the upcoming season after completing a move to the club.
The 22-year-old joins the club on a season-long loan from fellow Bundesliga outfit Union Berlin.
The enterprising forward sealed his move on Friday morning after passing his mandatory medicals and is expected to play a huge role next season for the club.
Reacting to the acquisition of Leweling, the Sporting Director of Stuttgart Fabian Wohlgemuth said, “Jamie can be used in several positions. He gained Bundesliga experience in Fürth and at Union Berlin and proved his qualities. With his footballing skills and intense style of play, Jamie is an asset to our offensive game”
The forward has a contract with Union Berlin that runs until summer 2026.
Despite featuring for Germany at youth level, Leweling is still eligible to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.
