Kaizer Chiefs will soon announce the departure of their centre-back who has been very unfortunate since his arrival at Naturena.

According to SABC Sport, Austin Dube and Chiefs have finally reached a settlement for the remainder of his contract.
The writing has always been on the wall for Dube at Chiefs after his limited game time under Arthur Zwane last season.

He has already been linked with a number of clubs, including TS Galaxy and his former club Richards Bay FC.
Richards Bay FC are keen to have him back but they were just waiting for Chiefs to indicate whether Dube is available on a free transfer or not.

However, it appears whoever wants Dube will get him on a free transfer now that Chiefs have decided to let him leave a year early.

“Kaizer Chiefs will part ways with defender Austin Dube following an agreement to settle the remainder of his contract, SABC Sport can reveal.
“SABC Sport sources have confirmed an agreement has been reached and Amakhosi will soon announce Dube’s departure.”
“It’s a work in progress. Please afford me the opportunity to conclude this and I will revert [back],” said Basia Michaels to the same publication.
“I can comfortably tell you that even as this process has ended we will have a club soon, there has been some positive receptions to his availability and I am looking forward to him playing regularly again,” she said.
