Kenan Thompson Set to Receive Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Long-term Saturday Night Live cast part Kenan Thompson is set to be deified by accepting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Aug 11.
Thompson’s qualification will make him the 2,728th star from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. The 44-year-old is longest tenured “Saturday Night Live” cast part in the wake of joining back in 2003. Before SNL, the Emmy-grant champ became well known on Nickelodeon’s All That and Kenan and Kel.

“Kenan Thompson is the voice of an age,” Hollywood Walk of Fame maker Ana Martinez said in Monday’s declaration. “From ‘Kenan and Kel’ to ‘Saturday Night Live,’ Kenan has been making people chuckle for almost 30 years.
In festival of his impending twentieth commemoration on SNL, we figured it would be fitting to put Kenan’s star close to the star of the one who gave him his work, Lorne Michaels.”
