Reigning Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC, have confirmed the signing of midfielder Godknows Dzakpasu from Tamale City.
The promising midfielder has signed a three-year deal with the Yellow and Mavue.
After their successful domestic campaign, Medeama now aims to make an impact in the CAF Champions League, a tournament in which Ghanaian clubs have faced difficulties recently.
Dzakpasu showcased his talent against Medeama in their final-day clash, despite Tamale City’s relegation.
The 26-year-old made 28 appearances and scored 2 goals for his former club.
Medeama hopes to replicate their 2016 CAF Confederations Cup success as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
Meanwhile, Medeama will stage their CAF Champions League home games at the Cape Coast Stadium.
