Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa Are S’exy Fishnet-Wearing Vampires in a New Music Video
After weeks of teasers, Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa have finally dropped their song, “Prisoner” — and the music video was well worth the wait.
In the video, Cyrus and Dua Lipa perform as rockstars driving a tour bus together, dancing on the floor, pouring red juice (blood?) all over each other — all while seriously rocking fishnet тιԍнтs.
Between the leather, lingerie, and black eyeliner, the singers are truly taking no prisoners with their grungy style and punk anthem sound.
“Prisoner” is a track off Cyrus’s upcoming album Plastic Hearts, which also features icons Billy Idol and Joan Jett. Last month, Cyrus and Dua Lipa were spotted leaving the shoot for the video (Cyrus still covered in “blood,”), and two have been teasing the song all week with clips and pH๏τos.
ET reports that Cyrus spoke of working with Dua Lipa on the song in an upcoming interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1.
“Some people’s charisma is really overwhelming,” Cyrus said in the interview, which will premiere on Monday. “I see, when Dua’s around, that her charisma — there’s no sense of desperation to it, like, ‘I’ve got to be the best because if I’m not what if…’ There’s a calmness to her success, which I really like.”
